One of the most common questions we get is simple: "How do I actually start selling on SparzaFi?" No capital, no licence, no shop front required — here's exactly how to go from nothing to your first order.

Open your shop on SparzaFi in 3 steps: create shop, add products, deliver with codes

Step 1: Create Your Shop

Head to the SparzaFi Marketplace and open the "Open Your Shop" registration page. You'll need:

  • Your name and a valid email address
  • A password (minimum 8 characters — use a mix of upper case, lower case, numbers and symbols)
  • Your shop name (e.g. "Mokoena's Tuck Shop") — this is what buyers will see

Accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, hit Create My Shop, and you're dropped straight into your Owner Dashboard. That's it — no paperwork, no waiting period to start setting things up.

Step 2: Add Your First Products

From your dashboard, go to Products and add your first item. For each product you can:

  • Upload a real photo directly (no need to host it anywhere else first)
  • Set a name, price and short description
  • Publish it straight to your live shop window

Quick tip: a clear, well-lit photo taken straight-on (not at an angle, not blurry) consistently gets more taps than a stock image or a dark, cluttered shot. Buyers are choosing between dozens of shops — your photo is doing the talking before they've read a word.

Step 3: Understand How Orders Get Delivered

SparzaFi delivery runs on community transport — taxi commuters, bus riders, motorbike and bicycle couriers, and people delivering on foot — using a simple, double-verified handoff:

  • When an order is ready, a pickup code is generated. The deliverer verifies it with you before collecting.
  • When the order reaches the buyer, a delivery code confirms the handoff was successful.

Both codes are time-limited and single-use, so neither side has to just take the other's word for it — the code is the proof.

A Few Things That Make a Real Difference

  • Respond fast. Buyers can chat with you directly through your shop — a quick reply to a question is often the difference between a sale and a scroll-past.
  • Keep pricing clear. No hidden surprises at checkout builds the kind of trust that turns a one-time buyer into a repeat customer.
  • Update stock honestly. Nothing kills trust faster than an order for something that's actually sold out.
